Review of Ready Player One (2018) by Alexander G — 29 Aug 2018
Ready Player One is my favorite movie. I rate it close to Matrix and Avatar. I am a fan of computer games and virtual worlds. I am one of those guys who played games almost full time 24x7 except going to work.
The teen in the movie even didn't work and didn't have a family (wife and children). I have children now and there is no time for games at all. Anyway I like the idea to be anyone and to do anything and only my imagination is a limit.
In virtual world this idea becomes possible. The only sad thing is that promising the world without boundaries they still set rules. Rules are the boundaries. So they finished right there where they started.
Made a full circle and came back to the score 0. What I really think that the real future world will allow a human to become a god. That kind of world I would like to see. Anything less is still interesting but not good enough.
