Review of Ratchet & Clank (2016) by Patrick E — 01 May 2016

I liked the film. It may have been purely a kids film, but I thought it was pretty good and pretty comedic. Most of this, you would have to play the games to appreciate it; though I will admit it has it's own faults.

Demonstration of the wacky weapons they have and only using about 5-7 of them in combat, looking at it, a chunk of the movie was demonstrating the weapons instead of just using them for practical combat.

Other than that, it's pretty funny to watch through. It's a reboot so there's nothing new-ish to expect to add to the storyline with the addition of another villain and changing Rachet reason to leave home from the original game.

If your a fan of the series, give it a watch. If not and you play games, play through the original trilogy. If you don't like this duo nor do you play the games, give this film a skip.
