Hilarious movie. Yes, it helps if you have any military (especially recent) experience, as a LOT of the jokes are aimed squarely at veterans. Face it, the military is filled with alpha males that spend the majority of their time joking and ragging at each other.
It might be handy to take a military vet along with you, to explain what a pogue, challenge coins, PT belts, and Bergdahls are, it might help.
