Review of Ragamuffin (2014) by Thomas P — 04 Jan 2015
Well written, compelling, and honest to a fault about the life and untimely death of Rich Mullins - musician and author of Christian classics "Awesome God" and Amy Grant's popular "Sing Your Praise To The Lord" who struggled w alcoholism and self acceptance.
A sensitive man, broken by a harsh father, who wrestled w the meaning of true Christianity and the idea of a loving Father God. He later found some answers thru Brennan Manning, an author who helped Mullins find closure and peace, after his difficult father had passed away.
A touching, heartfelt portrayal - worthy bc of its honesty, authenticity and urgently needed message.
Brilliant and satisfying.
