Review of Queen of Blood (1966) by Allan C — 24 Nov 2013
Low budget and rather turgid space opera about astronauts finding a lone survivor of a ship crash on Mars. Unfortunately, she turns out to be a vampire. In the plus column for the film you get a young Dennis Hopper and John Saxon, along with past his prime Basil Rathbone, and the film also has a decent ending.
In the negative column, it's boring, it's poorly directed, painfully low budget and even uses stock special effects footage from Soviet era Russian sci-fi films.
