Review of Punk's Dead: SLC Punk 2 (2016) by Stephanie C — 02 Jun 2016
More of a spin-off movie, than a true sequel. Its good , but there was no Stevo, how can you have SLC punk without Stevo. It follows the offspring of Heroin Bob as he is going through his crisis so he decides to take a road trip and the long way around to SLC, when Rosses mom finds out he is going through a crisis she recruits the old SLC gang except for Stevo to find Heroin Bobs son.
It all ends up in an anti climatic scene where Rosses mom realizes that he cant fill Heroin Bobs shoes. The only really great part is we found out where John the mod ended up, where Shawn the begger and Eddie end up, if you loved the first movie, you will find this movie lack luster but good, but it wont leave you with feeling with of awe like the first movie did.
3.0 out of 5.
