Review of Psycho III (1986) by Sam B — 15 Mar 2011
Probably the best and most disturbing of all the Psycho sequels and stands up on its own as a very good film. Anthony Perkins is proper on form as Norman Bates in an excellent script that rolls along at a great pace.
There are some really memorable and quite disturbing scenes not really seen before in the other films, the shower is swapped for a phone box this time and we see allot more of stuffed mother! The ending is excellent and really this should have been the final film as it draws the story to a good closure, we wonâ(TM)t mention Psycho 4 or that bloody terrible remake.
Worth checking out even if you have not seen any of the other films.
