Review of Psycho (1960) by Will E — 16 Dec 2017
This film is one of the most suspenseful movies I have ever seen in my life. The atmosphere is so damn creepy that it could make anyone's hair stand on end, and its iconic shower scene is nothing short of amazing.
My grandfather, Mort Mills, acted in this film as the Policeman, which I feel is one of the most underrated characters in the film. Still, it's nice to know that a family member has worked with the great Hitchcock.
Norman Bates is one of the finest villains in cinema history, played to perfection by Perkins, cementing him as one of the greatest thriller characters of all time, if not the greatest. This film has to be seen to understand its greatness, but anyone watching will certainly not regret taking the time to see such a beautiful piece of history.
