Review of Protagonist (2007) by James C — 19 Aug 2007

Absolutely remarkable. I wasnt sure how the premise would work out, but comparison to euripidean drama is a really effective device, the puppetry is fantastically emotive and descriptive. And I wasn't expecting it to describe the lives of four such remarkable individuals.

A bullied amateur martial artist. An abused bankrobbing ubermensch. A homosexual fervently fighting himself through his faith. And a liberal, driven to terrorism, forced to face the realities of what he became.

And so forth. See it if you can.
