I think girls will appreciate seeing this movie more than guys. In fact, I think guys wil get bored watching it. So, for me, it falls in the category of a chick flick. This movie is funny, sad, heart-warming, etc. If you're a girl, there's a good chance you will really like it.
On another note, I truly don't understand why Micaela Nevarez won the Goya award.....I felt like she was reading cue cards throughout the whole movie. What a Shame! She's from Puerto Rico and ,because of the award, I went to see the movie with really high expectations, but she didn't deliver. She definitely dissappointed me. However, Peña and the actress that played the junkie really impressed me!!
