A very good as well as sad movie. Although it does promote a bit of hawaiian history to those who don't know it, but it was a bit much with the love story part that took away from the history. WIth lovely hawaiian and non-hawaiian vistas it does also show how haoles viewed hawaiians that even sometimes is still carried over to this day.

Overall, I loved this movie and will recommend it to those who don't know what exactly happened on how hawaii became a territory of the US.
