Brooke Shields' major breakout role. A controversial film to be sure, but well made and, for the most part, tasteful. Susan Sarandon is brilliant as the mother, and the role of the photographer (Keith Carradine) is a complex one that reveals the inner temptations a man may face in his life, whether sexual or otherwise.
