One of Malle's most well-known films, owed to controversy surrounding a 12 year old Brooke Shields portraying a child prostitute in full frontal nudity. Not among Malle's best works, but definitely an interesting little film with some warm, human moments.
Malle's second and last collaboration with famed cinematographer, Sven Nykvist. Yee haw!
