A unique and important film by Louis Malle. A brief glimpse into the life of a 12 year old prostitute growing up in a brothel at the turn of the century in New Orleans...there's nudity, piano playing,Susan Sarandon, a maid, and of course superb storytelling.
I believe someone reviewed this saying the film was made in poor taste, well, I don't think we watched the same movie...nothing poor at all about this film.
