Review of Powder (1995) by John T — 31 Jan 2008

I've watched this movie about 4-5 times over the last 10 or more years, and I loved it every time. It's got the persecuted genius outcast superhuman underdog thing going pretty good for it, and is quite an original and touching film.

Only this last time did I really notice the brief but slightly gay bent to it, even before I learned of the controversy discussed in the synopsis given, which probably explains why it's there. That dip aside, it's on my all-time favorites list.
