I never compare movies and books if possible. The point of the movie is that it is "based on" the book, not that it is an exact replica of the book. Therefore, taking it for what it was, a love story with a fun treasure hunt mixed in, intrigue, betrayal, and some very interesting twists, I give it five stars for being an absolute delight to watch.
