Review of Pope Joan (2009) by Arsev A — 21 Oct 2010

I do so love any movie that would get the church's knickers in a twist, and this film must have had them having coniptions! About a lowly woman, who pushes herself through the misogynist ranks of the church to become the Pope.

While it may not be true, we could all wish it was. Maybe the Catholic Church would be a whole lot more pro-choice, and not so adamant about stamping out change. Great performances from all the cast. Wonderful movie.
