Like a bad combo stir-fry; tries out some interesting things, but doesn't take any of them far enough to develop a decent flavour.
E.g. Reasonable premise but not developed well, some attempts to play with out of order narrative but not enough. Some work with situational comedy but not enough. You get the idea....
