Review of Pit Fighter (2005) by Vincent O — 23 May 2009
Shot on a no-budget of just 600,000, this when all considered is not half bad. I usually detest movies shot on video but the acting, action and the essential fight scenes are nicely executed. The relentless, graphic violence on screen is pretty gripping if this is what you like (the title is self explanatory) and the main actor used to be a real kick boxer, which gives it a little bit of authenticity.
Many higher productions lose this gritty reality for being too highly polished.
