"Pink" is an immensely relevant and tense courtroom drama that is well worth seeing. I was interested in the story as soon as the movie started and was anxiously waiting for the story to unravel.
You're given small bits and pieces at a time and once the movie ends, everything adds up. It's a movie that is a scathing critique of the unfair standards people still set even today. It's an intelligent movie and not your conventional Bollywood movie.
Amitabh Bachchan's performance is astoundingly good and essentially carries the movie.Everyone else also does a good job and the characters do feel like actual people in this movie. It's a somber and real movie that has something very important and impactful to say.
It's a refreshing change of pace in Indian cinema.
