Review of Pierrepoint: The Last Hangman (2005) by Kim F — 14 Jun 2007
This was an excellent and intense movie about a working class hangman in Britain before and after WW II. The two leads are absolute master actors. A very interesting commentary on how the most simple of people can do hideous things.
This only occurred to me just now as I was thinking about Pierrepoint being the hangman for the Nuerenberg convicts.
