This little-known fantasy romance was an unexpected gem. I was thoroughly drawn into the relationship between Gary Cooper and Ann Harding, and there is a kind of sweet innocence, maybe even naivete, that you don't find in most Hollywood films.
It has the feel of an old-fashioned fairy tale.
