Epic in the scope of the production .. the direction is focussed, the period feel believable, and the main character an amazing portrait of a psychopath in an awesome minimal performance by Whishaw .. his justification of his 'art' is a compelling argument and never quite changed my moral leanings, but I did empathize with his passion .
