How the fuck did Paul Reubens not age??? Like I understand make up is part of it but goddamn has he aged well. Anyhow, this movie felt like a rehashing of some higher points in the Pee Wee world but with less style and a less coherent world.
The silly stuff is fun though; I laughed out loud a handful of times but not enough to really carry the whole film. I feel like they tried too hard to update a sense of humor that didn't need any updating.
.. I don't know. All in all, a fun nostalgia watch that doesn't mess it up but doesn't really add anything either.
