Review of Peacock (2010) by Sweety H — 01 May 2010
Cillian Murphy is fantastic in the John Skilpa role. I've seen Mr. Murphy throughout his career in various different roles and he does a convincing job in every one portraying characters that require a lot of research to get the attention of the audience. In Peacock, Murphy conquers schitzophernia and does a great job doing it, keeping Emma and John two separate characters with two different personalities displaying their weaknesses and strengths. As Murhy advances in his film career, his acting ability and chosen projects shows maturity and confidence. I predict that Murphy will one day be able to puncture the American market as he has the British Film Industry and will one day be known as well as he is known in Ireland and Britain.
The film is presented confidently and has a great cast of characters and personalities.
