Review of Peace, Love & Misunderstanding (2011) by Pedro G — 16 Jun 2012
Peace Love and Misunderstandings - Rating 4.4 Jane Fonda is Grace, the grandmother hippie still stuck in the spirit of Woodstock. Catherine keener is Diane, her daughter who can't forgive her mother for her upbringing.
Diane is a NYC lawyer going through a divorce so she decided to take her two children and visit her mother (Fonda) to whom she has not spoken in years. The movie has many useless scenes and seems to be going nowhere but in the end it kind of comes together.
This is a kind of ... movie, Kind of funny, kind of stupid, kind of serious, kind of senseless, kind of smart. You may kind of want to see it and then again you may kind of want to stay home.
