Review of Passion (2013) by Luis R — 04 Jul 2013

Critics mostly hated this last euro erotic thriller by mastro De Palma. I personally loved. Well the whole situation and tones are similar to the ones in Femme Fatale and Black Dhalia, though this one is more essential, less pompous and less visual.

Anyway everything that made De Palma the artist is known for its there: from the final twists in the story and the great classical tunes to the blond fatale, the sense of retrò noir and the split screens technique.

I enjoyed this movie and I suggest it even if its not a lesbo drama ad maybe the trailer can suggest.
