Review of Parts Per Billion (2014) by Don S — 04 Aug 2017
Played against a backdrop of biological warfare spreading death across the globe, this drama focuses on the couples and how they handle their impending doom: an elderly couple, this couples grandson and his fiance, and the elderly man's attorney and her husband.
The acting is decent, though I must admit to not being a fan of Gena Rowlands. This is a talking heads movie, where nothing happens - it doesn't really even follow the spread of the biological weapon - and it is so slowly paced you just about fall asleep listening to these folks drone on about their non-interesting lives.
By the time it ends, you are glad for it to be over one way or the other.
