Review of ParaNorman (2012) by Jacky C — 01 Mar 2013
This might be my favourite stop motion film of all time. Dealing with the topic of death is not easy for a kids film, but ParaNorman handles the issue with both wit and thoughtfulness. It is pretty extreme and frightening at times, but a particular zinger at the end of the film makes ParaNorman more unusual and unique amongst other animated films.
Hoping more animated films try to push boundaries and conventions like ParaNorman.
