Freckles from Arrested Development tries to be taken seriously as an actor with Paint It Black, an art house indie that plays like a David Lynch/Nicolas Winding Refn mashup for millennials. Don't get me the wrong, the first half hour has potential because it is fascinating despite not being particularly entertaining, but it is all downhill after the first 40 mins, and the last act is an absolute trainwreck.
