Review of Outlander (2008) by Rachel M — 09 Sep 2009
A great blend of sci fi and fantasy, Outlander draws on the Norse legends of old, and gives the viewer a futuristic version of events. The Xenomorph is a fantastically realised monster, with the Alien films as it's inspiration, and the quest to kill it is reminiscent of 13th Warrior and Beowolf.
A thoroughly entertaining film that deserves attention, and I highly recommend it.
