Review of Once Upon a Time in the Midlands (2002) by Farah W — 24 Oct 2008
A bit quirky, very simple and raw romantic comedy of simple people in northern england that is not for adrenaline junkies. with an obscure touch of mixing spaghetti western gimmicks with working-class soap opera, it's cute, it's sweet and gloriously funny.
And it has Robert Carlyle vs Rhys Ifans, too good to be true.
