Love how authentic this film was to real life! During a time when most of what the film industry is putting out is complete relational fiction, this was a breath of fresh air.
The characters were well developed and each had their own unique story/journey through the film. The viewer was able to see the threads of why each character made the choices they did and either relate to that thread personally or via someone that they knew.
This wasn't one of the "sappy christian films" that can really turn people away. It was challenging and through provoking in many ways. There were truly hard moments that show conflict and dynamic intention in the writing and directing.
