Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Stephen R — 03 Sep 2009
The earliest big screen adaption of Dracula, and a must-see classic. The score is perfect; the acting is great, with Granach almost stealing the show as Harker's insane boss. Even now Schreck's Nosferatu is unnerving, particularly when he is virtually motionless - conveying a menacing ambiguity of what horrors are about to occur.
