_North_ is hands-down one of the funniest books I've ever read (that downed hand is holding hands with Paul Feig's _Kick Me_). Roger Ebert's review of this movie version included: "I hated this movie.
Hated hated hated hated hated this movie. Hated it." Yes, it's silly and doesn't make sense all of the time, but I (unlike Mr. Ebert) still really liked it--even though I prefer the book.
