Wow, now this was a film. How Hopkins and the actor playing Kissiger didn't get an Award I don't know. The film is well acted/directed/scripted. However it is a bit on the long side at 191mins but what you must rember is that this is Oliver Stone.
His use of inter cutting real fottage with scripted fortage is a great mix and makes this almost (i say almost) a Doco. this gives a touch of realism to the film wich makes it very intersesting and powerful to watchl.
Perhapse the fact that I knew of Nixon but didn't really know the story I injoyed the film more (like lurn about a historivcal event only scripted and with imotion). This is a must see if you enjoty these political dramas like Bobby, Thirteen Days and so on.
