Review of Nicotina (2003) by John M — 09 Feb 2009
Nah, this was a rather sappy late-night experience. The collective reaction was that this was a Argentinian soap with too much shooting. The female characters were idiotic, the young males based on some "becoming a man" anime-cliche, the old males were plain unsympathetic.
The psychological layer sucked in other words. The action was boring also, predictable and a not quite understandable. And the attempts at slapstick were embarrassing. Seems I didn't like this one that much.
