Review of Newlyweeds (2013) by Brooke A — 05 Aug 2013
Definitely a film to keep track of. Shaka King did an incredible job highlighting the whirlwind love between Lyle (Amari Cheatom), Nina (Trae Harris), and "Mary Jane." The events within their lives are fascinating, and to call this a dark comedy is most definitely fitting.
I plan on seeing it again when it's released September 18th.
