Review of Nerdland (2016) by Scraper — 07 May 2017
A general look at the phoniness in everything that is news, fame, malls, and L.A. I did like some of the funny details, but I think I'm just tired of crude take-downs of the same old targets. Family Guy and South Park have beaten this path to the point of exhaustion.
Like my fading enjoyment in Louis CK material, I'm ready for something personal and meaningful, that doesn't crap all over everything, whether those things deserve it or not.
