Review of Necromentia (2009) by Jason S — 04 Apr 2010
The film has a Clive Barker flare to it and the creatures reminded me of Cenobites (watch Hellraiser if you don't know what a Cenobite is). Overall I really enjoyed the story....what was confusing in the beginning and middle was wrapped up nicely in the end.
The plot may have unfolded in a bizarre manner but the writers kept the script tight and put together a pretty good story. Visually, the film was stunning....from the creature with its back exposed and huge mouth to the fat guy with the pig face, it was all very intriguing.
