Review of Naked as We Came (2013) by Egidijus S — 02 Sep 2015
Another family drama with a taste of queerness - that's how I can sum up this movie. Laura and Elliot, brother and sister, rush to country side estate to visit they dying mother Lilly. And she's not alone, but living with handsome stranger Ted. Like in another same type movie, mother is very nostalgic, always crying and remembering how bad she was. Laura is angry on everyone and Elliot with Ted fall into romantic feelings.
S. Lue McWilliams (dying mother) did a great job in this movie, it's beautifully shot, but on some moments it was just boring to watch and just waited to see half naked bodies of Elliot (Ryan Vigilant) and Ted (Benjamin Weaver).
