Review of Multiple Maniacs (1970) by David A — 11 May 2010
Divine shines in this outragous piece of cult trash that only John Waters could come up with. While leading a traveling sideshow of maniacal proportions complete with heroin addict her not so adequate boyfriend plots his escape.
After a "Divine" religious intervention in Church the final confrontation sends Divine completely insane resulting in the most delightful epic all captured in beautiful black and white. Absolute genius and complete and utter anarchy, a piece of true obscure cinema madness.
