Review of Mrs. Pollifax — Spy (1971) by Frank R — 04 Jun 2013
RR's final big screen role she adapted herself (under a pseudonym) from a popular adventure novel which spawned a series of books by the recently deceased Dorothy Gilman. The result is B-movie-ish, but many B-movies are entertaining, and this is one of them.
You really want to see how Mrs. P. makes out. The director, Leslie Martinson, also did the campy 1966 Batman movie---so that should give you an idea of the tone.
