Yes, this is a romantic comedy. However, it goes much deeper than that. It's a story about childhood sweethearts who were best friends, grew up, got married, then divorced because life just happens.

While he's trying to find her a husband so he can stop paying alimony, they realize they still love each other and that before they divorced, he was waiting for her to come back while she was waiting for him to come after her.

This movie shows what miscommunication and stubbornness can needlessly cause and that real true love can find it's way back.
