Review of Mr. Destiny (1990) by Atle L — 30 Dec 2007
Ok, the concept is fascinating BUT... The main character first dislike his life (wife, job and so oN) - then when he get this new life he still complaints - and want to go back to the stuff he had before. Why make a full movie out of this? Why not just ask Mr. Destiny to change it back, and so he will, instead of fucking up this new life? The main character gives us an answer at one point, but I think it would be ten times better if it was made 10-15 years later and done a totally different way. It was very too sweet at the end of the movie, which seemed very imitated, even though it made me laugh a little. A better example of a similar movie, that I personally recommend more is The Family Man.
Oh, and L. J Burrows? Prison Break?;) Nice one.
