Review of Mosquito Man (2005) by Trinity C — 03 Jul 2007
"He's more mosquito than man.".
An entertaining tale of a prisoner who is exposed to a dose of radiation in a lab experimenting with mosquitos and then begins to transform into a giant mosquito. The best way to describe this film is to compare it with the last part of the 1986 remake of The Fly. Some of the special effects are quite good, and if they had spent a bit more time with the convict and what he is going through this could have been a decent film. It gets a solid three stars thanks to a good idea, that line and as always some fun deaths.
