Review of Mooz-lum (2011) by Shanet R — 19 Aug 2011
Great perspective of Muslim America, one of the many diverse stories waiting to be told on this part of the population. Speaking as a Muslim American, I feel everything was handled fairly regarding Islam, and was presented as a great faith with imperfect followers, as the case with all religions.
I felt the 'angry white Americans' scene after 9/11 occurred was a little stereotypical but I guess needed for the story. Some other story points were equally heavy handed but overall a great story.
