Review of Monterey Pop (1968) by David K — 16 Sep 2008

I found this an extremely powerful experience. I had recently been involved in the making of a documentary as a director and was disappointed a s a whole, the compromises and the vision was constantly getting screwed, but watching this, I feel amazed and wanting as I saw how beautiful the moments were that had been caught.

I believe Hendrix is the Devil in flesh and Shankar is God in a kurta.
