I get the low ratings but it wasnt that bad just not great. What I got from it was that humans are violent and cruel while the aliens ( giant squids ) are mellow and nice. Almost every scene the alien is in the background looking like "Hey im just here chilling".
Then ending sucks which probably explains the ratings.
