Review of Monster's Ball (2001) by Lisa X — 30 Nov 2009
Pretty bleak tale of hatred and bigotry that is turned around by some massive coincidences which in turn lead to love, forgiveness and redemption. Not my usual kind of film and certainly not what one would watch if wanting a feel good movie.
But the strength of the performances carry this one all the way to a five star review.
